This is my mandala drawing. To make it, I used colored pencils and a blender pencil. Some art elements I used were color, value, and shape. Some skills I used to create it were blending colored pencils and the "circle within a square" technique. I would describe the mood as vivid and electric.
For my choice painting, I decided to redo the spooky trees project that I did last semester. To make it, I used a pencil and water color paints. I would describe the mood as bright and summer-like. I believe that I have a zero for this in the grade book under "painting" on 3/23/15, so I am hoping I will be able to get credit for it as you told me I could make up anything in the project category for the semester. I would describe the drawing as precise and angular. This is my 2-Point Block Drawing, and to make it I used a ruler and drawing pencils. Some elements I used in my drawing were value, line, shape, and space. A new skill I incorporated into my work was drawing from a two point perspective. I would describe the mood of the drawing as introspective and sharp. This is my motivational poster, and I made it using a sharpie and colored pencils. One skill I used while creating it was my employment of symmetrical accuracy. Some art elements I incorporated were shape, color, and value. I would describe the mood of the poster as encouraging, but at the same time cautionary, warning the world what dangers hate brings.
This is the masthead that i created for my website (as you've probably seen), and to make it I used a pencil, a sharpie, a highlighter and a ruler. One skill i used was my ability to use correct proportions and straight lines to create a nifty looking font. some art elements i incorporated into my drawing were color, space, and shape. i would describe the mood of my drawing as electric and exciting.
